A day of smiles, exploration and collective expression; Sidebyside returns in February 2025. A utopian combination of curated electronic music, superb sound systems and mixed media arts framed by post apocalyptic structures and visual elements awaits.
We are privileged to gather in the glorious Adelaide Parklands and celebrate the interaction of green spaces and cityscape. Preservation of these locations is a high priority.
Join us in our endeavour to ensure the parklands remain clean and green places to be shared by being vigilant in dealing with waste, and committing to sustainability initiatives.

Company.company.company and Mapped designed a fully immersive dance-music experience for anyone seeking sanctuary from the stressors of modern life - a place to truly be in your body and connect with others the best way we know how, by sharing the dance floor with them. This was a post-apocalyptic utopia of collective expression.
The Sanctuary represents a place where we can truly push the limits of our own creativity, a new chapter and an annual project we are deeply passionate about. We built the site from the ground up with an army of passionate, like-minded individuals all working together to create something truly special.

Enter the Dream State, a visceral journey through the subconscious where each step pulls you deeper into the surreal.
This walk-through audiovisual experience unfolds like a dream—familiar yet strange—inviting you to cross the shifting thresholds of perception and imagination. Each room holds an essence that morphs and abstracts as you progress, embodying the way thoughts dissolve and reform in a dream.
Dream State blurs the boundaries of meaning and interpretation. The installation mirrors a cascade of evolving dreams, where seen becomes unseen, known becomes unknown, stillness gives way to movement, and silence transitions to sound.
You will emerge with fragments of an intangible story - one that lingers just out of reach, yet undeniably felt.
